I LOVE chick flicks, old classics and Disney movies… I can’t choose one!

What is your favourite book?
I just finished reading the Twilight series and I loved them! I’m a book addict…

What is your favourite sport to watch?
I love supporting all our teams, and in my house the TV is always on sport, but if I had to choose I’d go with rugby and cricket!

Who is your sporting hero/heroine?
Michael Phelps. Despite all the bad publicity of late, I still think he is a phenomenal athlete, and as a swimmer, I don’t think anyone truly understands how much hard work and dedication he has put in to achieve the results he has!

What is your favourite comfort food?
A packet of crisps and cream cheese to dip them into!

What has been your best travelling experience?
When I competed at the 2007 German Cup Championships, a friend and I stayed on to tour through Europe. We saw Italy, Germany and England and it was a really wonderful experience that I wouldn’t have been able to have if not for the opportunity that sport has given me!

What was your very first memorable sporting moment?
I remember winning my first swimming race at primary school when I was 6 years old! I always wonder where I would be today if not for that very first positive experience in the water!

What has been your worst sporting moment?
At the 2005 World Games Championships, I got really sick. I had a fever and a serious chest infection and as a result missed the first two days of competition. I was so disappointed with myself and hated letting the team down! Surprisingly, it is still one of my favourite and most memorable international tours as we had such an awesome team and it was filled with so many good times and special moments…

What can you not train without?
Goggles! Whether I’m in the sea or the pool I’d die without them!

What is your favourite sporting or motivational quote?
The key to happiness is having dreams. The key to success is making them come true!
